The Concrete News is an independent digital news platform that brings readers timely, accurate and easy-to-understand reporting. We believe good journalism should be fast, fair and easy to read on every phone.
What we do
Our newsroom reports on the stories that shape everyday life, from local developments and public issues to business, sports and culture, and explains why they matter. The website is available with an English, Hindi and Gujarati interface so more readers can follow the news in the language they are comfortable with.
What we cover
- Local and regional news
- Politics and governance
- Business and economy
- Sports
- Entertainment and lifestyle
- Local events and press meets, listed in our events calendar
Our principles
- Accuracy first. We check facts and sources before we publish.
- Fairness. We give people and organisations in our stories a chance to respond.
- Independence. Advertising and sponsored content never decide what we report, and paid content is always labelled.
- Accountability. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly.
